We are frequently asked which file types Document Vault supports. The answer is that all file formats can be uploaded to the data room with the exception of executable file formats such as .exe files. The file formats which are most frequently used include PDF, word and excel (and JPG, GIF, webp etc).
The system recognises these formats and displays the appropriate thumbnail image to show this to users of the data room.
The system also supports specialist formats such as autocad and other digital formats.
While it is not necessary to have any of these applications installed on your local machine in order to access them, you will need them in order to open the files.
